BOAT RAMP AND PONTOON
The
boat ramp and pontoon situated in the club grounds, makes
launching and retrieving Trailerable boats easy. The ramp
has a gradient of 1:8.8.
Changes
to legislation governing the environment have caused
activities that were previously carried out at or near the
Club ramp to cease.
Members
may no longer use the ramp and adjacent area for slipping,
washing down, antifouling and/or repairs to moored yachts or
trailerable vessels.
The
ramp is available to trailerable vessels for the purpose of
launching and retrieving vessels only.
Vessels MUST
NOT be moored on the ramp pontoon.
The adjoining pontoon is available for mooring of
vessels for loading and unloading vessels.
The maximum time of use is
ONE HOUR, unless a special extension is granted by the
committee.
The
use of this ramp is at the members risk, and the Club is not
responsible for any loss, damage or liability suffered or
incurred as the result of any such use however caused.
No
work likely to cause excessive noise is to be carried out on
Club premises. Work
may only be carried out between the hours of 7:00am and
6:00pm Monday to Saturday and 8:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday.
